Refund Policy
In short. The core app is free, so you can try everything that matters before paying. Plus is a one-time purchase and online services are an optional monthly subscription — both are billed by Google Play, and refund requests are handled through Google Play. We're also happy to help directly.
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid parts of Private Period Tracker: the one-time Plus purchase and the optional online-services subscription. Because these are sold through Google Play, Google Play's payment and refund policies apply alongside this policy.
1. Try before you buy
Core tracking — logging, calendar, predictions, on-device storage, App Lock, widget, reminders, export, backup and deletion — is free and needs no account. Plus also includes a time-limited trial of online services. We encourage you to use the free edition and the trial so you know what you're getting before any charge.
2. Plus (one-time purchase)
Plus is a single, one-time charge with no recurring billing. If you're not satisfied, you can request a refund through Google Play, subject to Google's policies. Google generally offers a straightforward refund window for recent purchases (often within 48 hours of purchase) directly through the Play Store, and may consider later requests case by case.
3. Online-services subscription
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel the subscription at any time in your Google Play account. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to online services until the end of the current billing period.
- Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Charges for a completed billing period are generally non-refundable except where required by law or approved by Google.
- No loss of your data. If a subscription lapses, your local and Plus features keep working and your data stays on your device, fully exportable. Only server-backed connected features are paused.
4. How to request a refund through Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app or visit play.google.com/store/account.
- Go to Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history.
- Select the Private Period Tracker order.
- Choose Request a refund or Report a problem and follow the prompts.
Refund timing and approval are determined by Google. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
5. If Google can't help
If your situation falls outside Google Play's automated window — for example, a billing error or a technical problem that prevented you from using a feature you paid for — contact us at support@privateperiodtracker.com with your order details. We'll review it fairly and, where appropriate, help facilitate a refund with Google.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under consumer-protection law. In some regions (for example, the EU and UK), you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital content within a set period; that right can be affected once you begin using the digital content with your consent. Your legal rights always take precedence over this policy.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes apply to purchases made after they take effect.
